He is honestly the sweetest little boy! He tells me “I ‘wove you” and surprise hugs and “hold you” on a daily basis. He spreads so much love. We have a few things planned for today.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
If you have been wondering where I am well….. We are expecting baby no. 2! And I have been sick! Very sick with morning sickness… not fun. It has kept me away from a lot of things I love, but I have been so richly blessed with such a wonderful growing family. Hoping and praying for a healthy baby in a few months. Our son is excited about a baby, but isn’t sure what to think about becoming a big brother. Guess we got some time for him to get it.
I decided to announce it to the World by the use of a tripod, my camera, and a remote. Here is our impromptu session that took a total of 10 minutes.

So many of the men and women are away from their families a lot. It’s difficult on both ends, the families holding down the fort and the solider who is away fighting. I had the pleasure of serving on the home front right along side of some of these awesome ladies and my husband severed at war with some of these strong men. We all went through a lot at the same time. I was honored to be asked to take these photos of this family as they reunited. There is so much energy in the room as the families reunite after a long 10 month deployment. And as my homecoming was fresh in my mind I teared up too. Welcome home solider!
